The Challenge
We have spent 20 years implementing IWMS software applications with a focus on providing standardized reporting for facilities executives who need to make strategic decisions based on current and accurate information. When we initiate the discovery process for implementing IMWS software we find that there are more and more requirements for us to integrate with other major business software applications. In most cases we find that the 5+ software solutions that we need to access (including our own) are proprietary. Due to these restrictions, any efforts to get the systems to talk together are typically cost prohibitive or are rendered obsolete by the time implementation is complete.
To overcome these restrictions, we have developed a non-proprietary Microsoft based reporting solution that allows us to gather and manage business information regardless of its origin.
